Seaside town

Seaside towns have existed in England for a long time. In the Victorian era sea resorts were places for wealthy people to relax. Later on as the working class emerged, sea towns welcomed the common people as holiday destination. Prosperity grew as well as mass tourism.
However vacations outside England became more popular, seaside towns lost their prosperity and fell into decline.
